【摘要】:TheTypeSpitottube(Fig.1)isoftenusedtomeasurethevelocityofflowinggasstreamsinindustrialsmokestacksandducts.BeforeaTypeSpitottubeisusedforthispurpose,itscoefficientsmustbedeterminedbycalibrationagainstastandardpitottube(2).1.1ThispracticecoversthedeterminationofTypeSpitottubecoefficientsinthegasvelocityrangefrom305to1524m/minor5.08to25.4m/s[1000to5000ft/min].ThemethodappliesbothtothecalibrationofisolatedTypeSpitottubes(see),andpitobeassemblies.1.2ThispracticeoutlinesproceduresforobtainingTypeSpitottubecoefficientsbycalibrationatasingle-velocitysettingnearthemidpointofthenormalworkingrange.TypeSpitotcoefficientsobtainedbythismethodwillgenerallybevalidtowithin3%overthenormalworkingrange.IfamoreprecisecorrelationbetweenTypeSpitottubecoefficientandvelocityisdesired,multivelocitycalibrationtechnique()shouldbeused.1.3Thispracticemaybeusedforthecalibrationofthermalanemometersforgasvelocitiesinexcessof3m/s[10ft/s].Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Theenergyinputratetestandthermostatcalibrationareusedtoconfirmthattheconveyorovenisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertestingandtoinsurethatalltestresultsaredeterminedatthesametemperature.Preheatenergyandtimecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorstomanagepowerdemandsandtoknowhowquicklytheconveyorovencanbereadyforoperation.Idleenergyrateandpilotenergyratecanbeusedtoestimateenergyconsumptionduringnoncookingperiods.Cookingenergyefficiencyisapreciseindicatorofconveyorovenenergyperformancewhilecookingatypicalfoodproductundervariousloadingconditions.Ifenergyperformanceinformationisdesiredusingafoodproductotherthanthespecifiedtestfood,thetestmethodcouldbeadaptedandapplied.Energyperformanceinformationallowsanendusertobetterunderstandtheoperatingcharacteristicsofaconveyoroven.Productioncapacityinformationcanhelpanendusertobetterunderstandtheproductioncapabilitiesofaconveyorovenasitisusedtocookatypicalfoodproductandthiscouldhelpinspecifyingthepropersizeandquantityofequipment.Ifproductioninformationisdesiredusingafoodproductotherthanthespecifiedtestfood,thetestmethodcouldbeadaptedandapplied.1.1Thistestmethodcoversanevaluationoftheenergyconsumptionandcookingperformanceofconveyorovens.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectaconveyorovenandunderstanditsenergyconsumption.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletogasandelectricconveyorovens.1.3Theconveyorovencanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Energyinputrateandthermostatcalibration(see10.2),1.3.2Preheatenergyconsumptionandtime(see10.3),1.3.3Idleenergyrate(see10.4),1.3.4Pilotenergyrate(ifapplicable)(see10.5),and1.3.5Cookingenergyefficiencyandproductioncapacity(see10.6).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
