【摘要】:Thispracticenotonlyprovidesinformationontheaccumulatedeffectsofcorrosionatspecifictimeperiodsunderagivensetofconditions,butalsoprovidesinformationontheinitialrateofcorrosionofvirginmetal,thecorrosionrateofmetalperunittimeafterlongexposure,andtheinitialcorrosionrateofvirginmetalafterlongexposureofthecorrodingfluidtometal.Thetestalsoprovidesameansofdeterminingthedirectioncorrosionwilltakewithtime,althoughcausesforincreaseordecreaseinthecorrosivenessandcorrodibilityofmediaandmetal(suchaspassivefilmformationordestruction,depletionofcorrosivecontaminate,andsoforth)asafunctionoftimearenotgiven.1.1Thispracticecoversthedeterminationofthecorrosivenessoftank-typeaircraftmaintenancechemicalsonaircraftmetalsandthecorrodibilityofmetalsinthesemaintenancechemicalswithtime.Thedeterminationismadeunderconditionsoftotalimmersionbyacombinationofweightchangemeasurementsandvisualqualitativedeterminationsofchange.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautions,seeSection6.
