【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeprovidesinstructionsformodifyingopen-holetensionandcompressiontestmethodstodeterminefilled-holetensileandcompressivestrengths.Thecompositematerialformsarelimitedtocontinuous-fiberreinforcedpolymermatrixcompositesinwhichthelaminateisbothsymmetricandbalancedwithrespecttothetestdirection.Therangeofacceptabletestlaminatesandthicknessesaredescribedin.1.2ThispracticesupplementsTestMethodsD5766/D5766M(fortensiontesting)andD6484/D6484M(forcompressiontesting)withprovisionsfortestingspecimensthatcontainaclose-tolerancefastenerorpininstalledinthehole.Severalimportanttestspecimenparameters(forexample,fastenerselection,fastenerinstallationmethod,andfastenerholetolerance)arenotmandatedbythispractice;however,repeatableresultsrequirethattheseparametersbespecifiedandreported.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
